SUSTAINABILITY REPRESENTATIVE
Job Description
A government agency in Sonoma County is seeking an experienced and driven Sustainability Representative to play a key role in advancing innovative water use efficiency and supply planning programs.
As an advanced journey-level technical expert in the Water Use Efficiency Section, the Sustainability Representative will design and lead strategic programs that promote water conservation, energy efficiency, and sustainable practices across Santa Rosa. This role will involve grant administration, project management, community outreach, and collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders.
You will be responsible for implementing policies and programs that support responsible water and energy use, including conducting audits, developing outreach materials, analyzing usage data, and ensuring compliance with local and state sustainability standards.

Job Requirements
Experience & Education:
- Relevant experience in water and/or energy efficiency, sustainability, conservation, or a related technical field
- College-level coursework in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, horticulture, landscape architecture, public relations, or a closely related discipline
A combination of education and professional experience demonstrating the required knowledge and abilities will be considered.
