Job Description
A government agency in Los Angeles County is in need of a Senior Director of Engineering to work under its Untilities Department. The Senior Director will directly manage two Directors of Engineering and act as a strategic partner and engineering advisor to the General Manager and the executive team. This leadership role involves aligning the divisions operations with citywide goals, managing high-priority infrastructure projects, and fostering a high-performing, customer service-oriented team culture.
The Senior Director of Engineering will lead and oversee both Gas and Water Engineering Divisions. The ideal candidate will be a visionary and results-driven leader with strong engineering, communication, and organizational skills. This individual should bring a track record of managing large-scale engineering teams and complex infrastructure projects, preferably in a public utility or municipal setting.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. Proof required at time of application. Foreign degrees must include equivalency documentation.
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of increasingly responsible engineering management experience, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacity.
- Proven leadership experience in a senior management role in a complex organization.
- Valid California driver s license.
