RECREATION MANAGER
Job Description
Under the general administrative direction of the City Manager, the Recreation Manager assumes full management responsibility for the planning, organization, and supervision of all operations within the City s Recreation Department. This includes community recreation programs, special events, park and facility services, youth and senior engagement, capital projects, and more.
You will serve as a key member of the City s management team and act as the liaison to the Parks and Recreation Commission, while leading a dedicated team of staff and volunteers committed to enriching the quality of life in the City.

Job Requirements
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in recreation or related public services
- At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management capacity
Education: Bachelor s degree in Recreation, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master s degree preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid California driver s license
- CPR/First Aid Certification may be required upon hire
