Job Description
A City Government in San Joaquin County is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Public Works Director to lead and elevate its essential public infrastructure and services. Reporting to the City Manager, the Public Works Director oversees, plans, and directs the full operations of the City s Public Works Department. This includes Engineering, Streets, Water/Wastewater, Fleet, Facility Maintenance, and Transit. The Director also provides expert guidance on major public works issues, sets department goals and policies, and ensures high-quality service delivery to the community.

At least four (4) years of supervisory or administrative experience in a major public works environment involving program planning, development, and administration.
