Job Description
A city government in Alameda County is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager I to join its Public Works Department. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a variety of essential public works and capital improvement projects, with a particular focus on the City s sidewalk and underground infrastructure maintenance programs.
Reporting to the Public Works Department, the Project Manager I will oversee a range of projects within the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and the Maintenance Division. If you are a hands-on project manager with experience in municipal or public infrastructure, and enjoy seeing projects through from concept to completion, this role is for you.

Education:
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in public administration, business administration, planning, engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least two (2) years of responsible professional project management experience, preferably in public works or municipal settings.
