A government agency in Los Angeles County is in need of a Plannine Aide to work under general supervision, to perform a variety of para-professional tasks in the areas of urban planning, environmental review, redevelopment, and housing.
This entry-level planning position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in municipal planning operations, working alongside professional planners and development staff. Ideal for candidates beginning their careers in planning or related fields, the role provides exposure to real-world city planning functions and the ability to directly contribute to community development efforts.

Job Requirements
Education: An Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in urban planning, landscape architecture, geography, environmental design, architecture, urban/public policy, engineering, or a closely related field. (Proof of education required at time of application.)
OR
Experience: Two (2) years of recent paid full-time equivalent experience in urban planning, urban design, environmental planning, sustainability, or a closely related field.
OR
Combination: Any combination of education and experience totaling two (2) years in related areas (e.G., one year of education and one year of experience).
