A City Government in Orange County is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join its Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Manager will plan, organize, oversee, coordinate, and review the work of staff providing professional, technical, and administrative support for the City s human resources functions. Areas of responsibility include:
- Recruitment and selection
- Employee benefits administration
- Job analysis, classification, and compensation
- Labor and employee relations
- Grievance administration
- Employee training and development
- General HR program administration
The position also assists the Human Resources Director with departmental management, budget administration, and coordination of interdepartmental and interagency initiatives.

- Education: Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field required; Master s degree desirable
- Experience: Six (6) years of progressively responsible municipal human resources experience, including three (3) years in a supervisory role
- Certification: IPMA-SCP or PSHRA-SCP highly desirable
