Job Description
A government agency in Santa Barbara County is seeking a Human Resources Director to plays a key leadership role in shaping a positive, equitable, and high-performing organizational culture. This position oversees all aspects of human resources for the city and reports directly to the City Administrator.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, or a related field
- At least 8 years of progressively responsible HR experience, with a strong track record in leadership roles
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory and management experience
- Prior experience in a municipal or public sector environment is strongly preferred
- Experience as a Human Resources Director or Assistant Director in a similarly complex organization is ideal
