A government agency in Orange County is seeking a talented Human Resources Analyst to join our high-performing, service-driven team. Our department may be small but we are mighty. As a Human Resources Analyst, you will work under general supervision to deliver a wide range of journey-level HR services. Ou ll also serve as a key advisor to departments, assist with policy development, and help ensure compliance with employment laws and City rules.

Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- Professional-level experience in at least one core HR area (recruitment, classification, employee relations, etc.); municipal or public sector HR experience is preferred.
Knowledge of:
- HR laws and best practices, including EEO, FLSA, FMLA/CFRA, CalPERS, workers comp, MMBA, and more.
- HRIS systems and modern office technology.
Ability to:
- Plan and coordinate HR programs and services.
- Communicate effectively across all levels.
- Maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment.
- Analyze problems, evaluate options, and propose practical solutions.
