Job Description
A government agency in Yolo County is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to join its Finance Division as an Accountant II or Senior Accountant, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with a strong foundation in governmental accounting, particularly those with CPA licensure and a passion for public service.
You'll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the City s financial systems and reporting, supporting both day-to-day accounting functions and long-term financial initiatives.

Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
Experience:
- Accountant II: Minimum of two (2) years of professional accounting experience.
- Senior Accountant: Minimum of four (4) years of governmental accounting experience is required.
License/Certification:
- CPA certification is highly desirable.
- Valid California driver s license, if assigned duties require driving.
