Job Description

A City Government in Riverside County is in need of a Controller who plans, organizes, manages, and oversees the daily operations of its Finance Department, including general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, payroll, fixed assets, budget control, debt issuance and administration, utility billing, and related financial functions. Contract Assignment is 1 month or longer, depends on the City needs. This is a full-time position with working hours of Monday to Firday, 8am-5pm.

Job Requirements

- CPA highly desirable but not required
- preferably with public sector experience
- Eden Software knowledge
- ACFR Preparation
- Capital Assets
- Longterm Debit Reconciliation A/R A/P
- Budget Control
- Short term rental laws useful
- Permit/rental laws plus
