- Civil, transportation, and traffic engineering
- Capital project delivery and infrastructure planning
- Regulatory compliance including CEQA, NEPA, California Public Contract Code, and Coastal Commission requirements
As a highly visible member of the executive team, the Director will frequently present to the City Council, collaborate with community stakeholders, and engage with the public on key infrastructure projects and initiatives.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor s degree in a related field required; Master s degree preferred.
Experience: Ten (10) years of progressively responsible managerial experience, including at least five (5) years in a supervisory capacity. Public sector management experience is required.
Licensure:
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California.
- Valid California Driver s License.
