A government agency in Orange County is seeking dedicated and energetic Recreation Coordinators to join its dynamic Parks and Recreation team. Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field
- Minimum two years of experience in planning and coordinating recreation programs or events
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Experience with program registration software preferred
Specialized Assignments:
- Skate Park Division: General skateboarding experience in a skate park setting is desirable
- Aquatics Division: Lifeguard certification and instructor certification (Starguard Elite preferred) must be obtained within 30 days of employment
License:
- Possession of or ability to obtain a valid California Driver s License
