A progressive municipal organization in Western Riverside County area is in need of an experienced municipal professional to take a lead role serving as the Community Development Director. This is a full time position working 40 hours a week for approximately 3-6 months.

Hourly Pay: Highly Competitive DOEQ

Responsibilities: Manage and direct all the planning department activities and services including housing, planning code enforcement, provide direct support to the planning commission, prepare reports and make presentations at city council, planning commission meetings, serve on various internal and external committee, establish, implement and enforce Department Policies, and procedures.
Five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience in urban planning or
community development, including three (3) years in a management capacity in local government. Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver's License is required. Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in urban and regional planning or a related field
(Master's Degree is desirable) or other closely related field.
