Job Description

The City of Manhattan Beach is seeking an experienced and visionary Community Development Director to lead a dynamic department dedicated to advancing the livability, sustainability, and mobility of the community. Job Requirements

- 8 years of progressively responsible experience in planning, zoning, and community development within local government, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.
- A Bachelor s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Geography, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
- A Master s degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
