- Senior or executive-level public sector management experience is expected; transferable leadership experience relevant to local government may also be considered.
- Strong generalist knowledge of municipal operations and administration.
- Expertise in municipal finance and/or complex land use issues is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with progressive economic development strategies is strongly preferred.
- A bachelor s degree is required; a master s degree is preferred.
