Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Administrative Services, the Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and managing the Administration and Public Services Department, which covers:
- Facilities and maintenance oversight
- Contract administration
- Budget development and management
- Community events
- Emergency preparedness
- Support for City Council and community commissions
This leadership role supervises dedicated staff, works closely with community partners, prepares and presents reports, ensures compliance with local, state, and federal requirements, and serves as the Emergency Operations Center Manager for the City.

Job Requirements
Experience: At least seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in public administration, with three (3) years in a lead or supervisory role.
