Job Description
A city government in Orange County is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Administrative Services Manager to lead and manage the Fiscal Services Division. This hands-on leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on the City s financial operations and reporting.
As a working manager, the Administrative Services Manager oversees key financial functions, including the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), coordination of external audits, financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll, and cash receipts. This position plays a critical role in ensuring financial integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance with governmental accounting standards.

Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, or public administration
- Four (4) years of professional-level governmental accounting experience
- One (1) year of supervisory or lead experience
- Experience with municipal fund accounting systems is strongly preferred
License & Certifications
- Possession of a CPA license is highly desirable, especially for candidates overseeing accounting operations
- A driver s license is not required, but reliable transportation for off-site responsibilities is necessary
