- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge of:
- Basic principles of public administration and municipal budgeting.
- Research methods and analytic techniques.
- Sound personnel management and supervision practices.
- Applicable federal, state, and local laws and policies.
- Modern office methods and procedures, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Skill & Ability to:
- Conduct research, compile and analyze data.
- Prepare clear written reports and presentations.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with City staff, elected officials, and the community.
- Operate modern computers and software with confidence.
- Interpret technical documents and follow instructions accurately.
