ASSISTANT TO THE CITY MANAGER
Job Description
Under general direction, the Assistant to the City Manager provides a full range of highly complex staff assistance, administrative, and analytical support to the City Manager and Assistant City Manager. This position serves as a key liaison between the City Manager s office and the public, City staff, boards and commissions, community organizations, and other government agencies. The role also oversees general office support functions of the City Manager s office and performs related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
- Master s degree in Public Administration or a related discipline is highly desirable.
Experience
- Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in municipal management.
- Previous administrative experience in a City Manager s office and at least one other City department is strongly preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and foster collaboration across departments and agencies.
