Reporting directly to the City Manager, the Senior Assistant City Manager is a vital member of the City s leadership team. This role shapes City-wide priorities, drives high-impact projects, and ensures alignment across departments, staff, and community stakeholders.
The Senior Assistant City Manager leads the City s executive management team, providing strategic direction to department directors, Assistant City Manager, and Deputy City Manager. Acting with full authority in the City Manager s absence, this position plays a pivotal role in setting short- and long-term goals, defining service levels, establishing key performance indicators, and maintaining strong relationships with intergovernmental agencies and community partners.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
Experience: Seven (7) years of professional public sector municipal government experience, with at least three (3) years at an executive management level.
