A City Government is seeking a skilled Deputy City Clerk to help lead the day-to-day operations of the City Clerk s Office. This vital position plays a key role in ensuring open government, transparency, and excellent customer service for our residents, City Council, and City staff.

Job Requirements

- Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent; Bachelor s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of three years supporting City Clerk functions, public meeting management, or related administrative experience.
- Certification: Possess or obtain a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) certification within two years of hire.
- License: Valid Class C California driver s license or alternative transportation method.
- Other: Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desirable.
