Job Requirements
- A seasoned executive leader and skilled diplomat
- An experienced collaborator with public officials, community groups, and stakeholders
- 5 to 10 years of executive leadership experience as a City Manager, Assistant/Deputy City Manager, or Department Head in a public agency of similar complexity
- Alternatively, candidates from non-traditional backgrounds with demonstrated executive leadership and deep understanding of public-sector management will be considered
- Bachelor s degree required; Master s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, or a related field is highly desirable
- Knowledge of California municipal governance, coastal community regulations, and state legislation is preferred
- An experienced collaborator with public officials, community groups, and stakeholders
