A municipal organization in Kern County, CA region is in need of a contract Accounting Manager to fill a vacancy within the Finance Division. This is a full-time position working for at least 3 to 6+ months and can at the clients discretion be extended or made permanent. Compensation is open, DOE/DOQ.

The Accounting Manager (Accounting and Budget) reports directly to the Director of Finance and plans, develops, implements, organizes, manages, continuously improves, supervises, directs, and evaluates the accounting (general ledger, payroll, grants, A/P and A/R) and budget operations of the agency.
