A municipal agency in Alameda County, CA is asking our firm to provide them a Project Manager for the Finance department. This is a full-time position that should run for 4+ months. The position will collapse once the assignment is complete, so there is no potential for permanent hire. Compensation is open, DOE/DOQ.

The right candidate will be tasked with evaluating the performance of the department and creating reports on planning and logistics to inform and advise Executive staff. There will be little to no actual accounting work.
You should have eight (8) or more years of increasing responsibility in a municipal finance department. You should have the ability to train the in-house Accountants on higher-level matters relating to municipal finance, as well as provide findings to the Executive staff as to how the department would run more efficiently after review of staff and procedures. Experience with Eden software is preferred.
