A municipal organization in the central Los Angeles, CA is in need of an Deputy City Clerk. This is a full-time position to run for 4+ months and could transition to a permanent opportunity at the client's discretion. Compensation is $25 to $35 per hour, DOE/DOQ.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the City Clerk's Office with City Council Agenda preparation and postings. Also assist with the coordination and management of local elections.Must have a thorough understanding of the City's Clerk's function within municipal government, the Brown Act, processing official documents, public notices, and the agenda process.
Certified Municipal Clerk or Master Municipal Clerk designation highly desired but not required.
