A local government agency in northern Orange County is looking for a Customer Service Representative to fill a position vacancy for 1 month. This is a full-time position working 32 to 34 hours a week. This position can become permanent for the right candidate. Compensation is DOE/DOQ.

Primary Duties: Watch over and monitor the front counter to provide customer service to walk-ins and process payments of various kinds (cash, credit card, check). Responds to inquiries in person or by phone, providing explanation of established procedures and work unit policies; issues routine correspondence to vendors, businesses, or the public, according to established procedure, including routine collection correspondence. Assists others involved in related activities.
HS Diploma or GED with 4 years experience serving a local government agency. Utility Billing experience highly desired.
