A local government agency in Orange County, CA is in need of a Controller in their Finance Department. This is a full-time position and the duration of the assignment is open with our client desiring our candidate to accept a temp-to-hire opportunity. Compensation is based on DOE/DOQ.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Working under the direction of the Finance Director, our employee will be addressing high-level finance and accounting matters. This will include, but not be limited to, work with the CAFR, budgeting, bank reconciliation and preparation of complex financial statements.
You should have four (4) or more years of relevant financial experience, preferably in a department of City Hall or some other local government agency. CPA preferred.
