CIP PROJECT MANAGER / P.E.

We're looking for a City Engineer / Project Manager to take CIP projects from bids & specs to notice of completion.
If you have CalTrans LOCAL ASSISTANCE PROCEDURES MANUAL, and Metro grant funding procedures experience, we want to speak with you. We would like you to understand the clearance process with CalTrans for approval for design and construction as well the process for approving invoice reimbursements.
Knowledge of Measure R, Measure M, and SB1, Urban Greening, Highway Safety, Safe Routes to Schools, and other local, state, and federal funding sources is highly desirable.
The local government organization in Los Angeles County is very progressive with a large Multi-Year CIP Budget to complete mid-range CIP projects that deal with parking lots, sidewalks, and related projects.
You must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work independently to prepare bid packages as well maintain communication with contractors and grant award agencies to bring CIP projects to completion quickly and on schedule and within budget.
The pay rate for this assignment is $50 to $70 per hour, with the higher rate for the most experienced and productive Engineer / Project Manager in California.
