A government organization in the National City, CA region needs a contract Business License Clerk for their Finance Department. This position should run about 3+ months, and are available for both part-time and full-time candidates.
PRIMARY DUTIES: Provides customer services for Business License applicants; processes documents, applications and fees; answers questions within scope of authority and training. Provides information on fees and regulations to applicants; assists applicants in completing forms. Reviews and accepts license and permit applications; reviews applications for completeness; calculates and collects applicable fees; prepares and issues receipt; forwards applications to appropriate staff for review.
HS Diploma or GED with 2+ years experience performing duties in line with those listed above. Prefer a candidate with a Degree in Accounting.
