A municipal organization in San Joaquin County region is in immediate need of an Administrative Specialist. This is a full-time position working for 6 to 9 months and could transition to permanent at the client's discretion. Compensation is open, DOE/DOQ.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Website maintenance and data update, explore grant possibilities for parks, and water infrastructure. Assist with getting information together for internal and external staff. Filing, letters and organization of Department. Assist with HR fuctions such as updating current personnel rules and policies through consultant. Setting up files and maintaining records. Additional duties as assigned.
You should have two (2) or more years of entry level experience, preferably in a local government agency. You must posses good soft skills in dealing with other office workers and the public.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
A four year degree from a College majoring in Public Administration is highly desired but not required.
Experience serving within a City Manager or Administrative Services Department is also highly desired but not required.
