A municipal organization in north San Luis Obispo County, CA region is in need of a contract Accounting Manager to fill a vacancy within the Finance Division. This is a full-time position working for at least 5 to 6+ months. Compensation is open, DOE/DOQ.

The Accounting Manager (Accounting and Budget) reports directly to the Director of Finance and plans, develops, implements, organizes, manages, continuously improves, supervises, directs, and evaluates the accounting (general ledger, payroll, grants, A/P and A/R) and budget operations of the agency.
Experience: Five (5) years increasingly responsible professional level governmental financial management, accounting, budgeting or auditing experience, with an emphasis in business and revenue operations activities, of which at least three (3) years supervising professional-level finance staff.

CPA License is highly desired but not required.
