A local government agency in Kern County, CA is in need of an Accounting Manager. This is a full-time position and should run for roughly 3 months.

The right fit candidate will not only know the technical aspects of full cycle accounting using a general ledger, but needs to also have the proper 'soft skills' to manage and lead the Accounting staff. Will both supervise as well as do work relating to bank reconciliations, PBCs and general ledger analysis.
Either five (5) or more years of increasing responsibility in a municipal Finance department with some supervisory experience, and/or similar experience as a CPA. Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of finance is preferred.
