An established organization in Riverside County is looking for an experienced Management Analyst to join its Public Works Division to fill a position vacancy for 4 to 6+ months. This is full-time position working 40 hours a week, and it can be extended or made permanent at client's discretion. Compensation is DOE/DOQ.

-BUDGET: Assisting in preparation of department s annual budget; tracking and analyzing Departments Operating Budget and Work Program throughout the year; preparing reports;
-AGENDA ITEMS & STAFF REPORTS: Performing research and preparing agenda reports for items going before Council; including assisting in drafting of Ordinances and Resolutions; may be required to attend Council meetings and present agenda items and staff reports;
-PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Coordinating projects related to public works administration as assigned, requires frequent interaction with Division level management in Public Works and other departments;
-PUBLIC INFORMATION: Updating and maintaining Department web pages and public information.
-ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TO DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR: Provide administrative support to the Public Works Director/Chief Engineer including research, report writing, grant writing and management, correspondence, email management, accurate note taking and preparation of minutes for Council Subcommittee meetings. Represent Department Director at meetings as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to training and experience that could likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities would be qualifying.

Typical way: Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration and two (2) years professional administrative work in a local government
