EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
Performs a variety of administrative tasks involving the operation of a agency program or agency department.
Gathers, tabulates, and analyzes data; conducts studies of policies, systems, procedures, practices, organization, and other matters relating to departmental programs and management operations; evaluates alternatives, formulates recommendations, prepares reports, correspondence, memoranda, tables, charts, graphs, policies, procedures, and informational materials.
Assists in the analysis and participates in the day-to-day administration of departmental programs.
Represents a department or the CEO's office on administrative matters in liaison with other departments and agencies; attends meetings and conferences with department staff, agency Commissions, committees, business, or community groups as required; answers requests for information.
Assists in the development and implementation of agency programs including ordinances, regulations, and policies.
Maintains or directs the maintenance of accurate records and files.
May support departmental and agency administration with technological hardware and software usage and upgrades.
Monitors changes in laws, regulations, and technology that may affect agency activities and functions; implements policies and procedures as required.
May plan, assign, supervise, review, and evaluate the work of staff when assigned to a specific program area.
