A local government agency in San Joaquin County, CA is asking our firm to provide them an interim Fire Chief. This position should run for 2-3 months, and go become permanent for the right candidate.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The right candidate will need to have leadership capabilities to manage and motivate the battalion. Having keen administrative oversight, there will also be need to analyze the structure and management of the staff. The General Manager will be looking for report from a fresh perspective as to the functionality of the department.
You should have four (4) or more years serving in the capacity of a Fire or Battalion Chief for a local government agency. No technicial licenses or software knowledge is necessary. Experience in plan check and inspection is preferable.
