Graduation from a four year college or university with major course work in public administration, business administration, information systems, personnel administration, or a related field. Graduate level coursework, training or certification in the principles of management, organizational development, budgeting and strategic planning. Broad and progressively responsible experience in departmental management of a variety of administrative, technical and community services related to personnel management, management information and telecommunications systems, and/or recreational and social services. Extensive experience in employee supervision of professional, technical and administrative staff. A Master s Degree is preferred.
