An established organization in Contra Costa County, CA is looking for an Executive Assistant who will perform advanced clerical and administrative duties within the Administrative Department. This is a full-time position with a duration of at least 3+ months and can become permanent at the clients discretion. Compensation is DOE/DOQ.

CLASS CHARACTERISTICS:
Work involves performing difficult and highly complex secretarial services, which includes relieving the General Manager and Assistant General Manager of routine administrative details and certain public contact duties. Work also involves important contact with the Council and officials of the Agency's operating departments and offices. The incumbent works with minimal or no supervision in the performance of the majority of office duties and administrative or technical routines. Work is reviewed by the General Manager for the achievement of desired results and adherence to policies and procedures.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Extensive experience in progressively responsible clerical and secretarial work, preferably including supervisory responsibilities, and graduation from high school, including or supplemented by courses in typing, stenography, office management and supervision

LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATE: Class C California Driver's License.
