An established organization in the Orange County region is looking for an experienced Executive Aide to join its Administration Department to fill a position vacancy for 3 to 6 months. This is full-time position and can be extended or made permanent at clients discretion. Compensation is DOE/DOQ.

Receives telephone calls and visitors for the general manager, ascertains nature of business and directs either to the general manager or, where feasible, to another appropriate authority for disposition; schedules appointments for and with the general manager; arranges and confirms meetings with the Board of Directors and numerous other official and community bodies; makes travel assignments.Supervises and trains subordinate clerical personnel and serves as office manager.Establishes and implements complex and varied office practices, forms and procedures.Takes and transcribes complex oral and machine dictation; composes correspondence; types a variety of reports materials; prepares special reports from source material in files; develops and maintains a complex filing system which includes confidential material.Participates in budget preparation and maintains budget accounts.Answers inquiries requiring interpretations of municipal policies, rules and regulations.Prepares agendas and material for various meetings and conferences; takes and transcribes minutes; distributes copies as directed.
Experience working for a Municipal Water District highly desirable.
Valid CA Drivers License & Good Driving Record
