A government organization in Stanislaus County, CA is looking for a City Clerk or Deputy City Clerk to fill a position vacancy. This is a full-time position working for at least 3+ months and can become permanent at the clients discretion. Compensation is DOE/DOQ.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of highly responsible and complex technical, administrative, and clerical activities in support of the City Clerk's Office including support for the City Council, the Redevelopment Agency, the Parking Authority, and the Public Facilities Financing Authority; and performs related work as required.
Education and Experience: Graduation from high school and a minimum of three years of experience in an administrative position, including experience in a public agency; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below. Experience in supporting a city council, board, commission, or other body; maintaining official records and records management systems; and frequent contact with the public are highly desirable.
