A government agency in Santa Clara County, CA is looking for an Administrative Assistant who will perform clerical/administrative duties in the Administration Department. This is a full-time position is to run for at least 2 to 3 weeks. Compensation is DOE/DOQ.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
Answers phone calls and transfers them to appropriate personnel.
Files, sorts, scans, and distribute various documents as instructed.
Sets up meetings/appointments for several executive staff and coordinates calendars.
Assists the public at the service counter and processes permit applications; and performs related duties as required.
May act as receptionist/front counter employee in absence of the primary receptionist.
High School Diploma or GED
Valid CA Drivers License
Government experience highly desired.
